The AVIS College offering has now stabilized. It is modular in nature; focused on international animal health, and is now fully internet enabled. It will however, because of the changing patterns in the spread of disease worldwide, need constant professional review and maintenance. In effect, the case for a constant and rolling review and upgrade is now clear.
The AVIS College includes a team of experts in animal health and related disciplines who have experience and expertise in all continents of the globe. The College is also underpinned by the AVIS Consortium and thereby has direct access to authoritative expert network of Reference Laboratories and Collaborating Centres designated by the OIE and FAO as well as the cutting-edge scientific expertise of the UK Institute of Animal Health and other Centres of Excellence in animal health.
The staff of the AVIS College includes a team of highly skilled Information Technology and Multi-media programming specialists located at the UK and US offices of the ALEFF Group.
