A College Without Walls
The AVIS College is primarily an association of senior, experienced specialists in the field of animal health and related sciences who are committed to promoting standards for animal disease management and the progressive globalization of trade in animal products, food security, food safety and the economic welfare of the livestock dependent rural communities throughout the world.
The College promotes a knowledge-based, disease risk management strategy that is adaptable to different areas of the world in order to encourage equitable and globalised trade to meet the unprecedented high and increasing demand for animal products and world food security.
